“BEAUTY SHOPS”

Battle Weary Troops

Revived

<5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, Jan. 10. The newly-developed "beauty shops" on the Fifth Army front in Italy are lifting the morale of the troops in a big way, states the correspondent of the Associated Press of America, Going right up as the front line moves forw. rd, the "beauty shops,” dubbed revival tents by the soldiers, receive fighting men relieved temporarily from the front line. The men go into the revival tents, battered and mud splattered, and in less than an hour they emerge showered, shaved, wearing clean underclothing and new uniforms.
