SHIPPING PORT OF TIMARU

Coastal Trade MUCH ACTIVITY OVER WEEK-END From the south side of No. 2 wharf the motor vessel Storm was working yesterday. She should clear to-day and sail for Wellington direct with 'cargo for Wellington and Wanganui. Expected to-day is the Waiana from Dunedin which is set down to load produce for Auckland, sailing to-night for Lyttelton. From Wellington the Waipahi is due to-morrow and she will discharge on Monday, sailing the same dav for Dunedin. VESSEL IN PORT Wharf No. 2 S. —Storm, m.s., 749 tons (Captain W. Williams). D. C. Wellington Jan. 13 Holmglen, Wellington Jan. 15 Waipiata, Auckland Early NOTES Leaving Wellington to-dav the Waipahi is due to ai-rive here tomorrow. and will discharge Timaru cargo on Monday before sailing for Dunedin. Returning from Dunedin she will call at Oamaru, and Is scheduled to work the Port of Timaru next Thursday, loading for Wellington. Nelson and New Plymouth. After loading at Dunedin and Oamaru, the Wainui is set down to arrive here on Tuesdav. She will take produce for Wellington and Napier only, Gisborne now being deleted from her ports of call. Cargo for Wellington and Waikato Heads will be taken the iioimglen on her arrival from Dunedin on January lb. The waipiata began loading at Auckland yesterday, and working her way south will call at Wellington. Lyttelton. Dunedin and Oamaru before her arrival her at an earlv date. She will carry produce tor Auckland on the return journey.
