Airman Killed
John de HaVillund. one of the pilots who tested the first Mosquito, the world's fastest bomber, was killed in a mid-air collision between rwo Mosquitos. He was one of three sons of Captain Geoffrey de Havilland. head or lire de Havillnnd Aircraft Company.
