YOUTH DROWNED
BODY RECOVERED BY PRIEST (N.Z.P.A.) PALMERSTON N„ Jan. 28. William Yale, aged 18. was drowned in the Manawatu River while swimming at the Ballance Bridge to-day. The body was recovered in 18ft of water by Monsignor A. J. Mcßae, a Roman Catholic priest, of Wellington, who was a member of a picnic party in the vicinity.
