NIGHT FLYING TEST
Two Airmen Killed (N.Z.P.A.) WELLINGTON. Jan. 28. Two members of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, both residents of Wanganui, lost their lives during a night flying test at a South Island Air Station on Wednesday when their aircraft crashed. The personnel concerned were Sergeant Louis John Norfolk Gumbley. Father, Mr C. N. Gumbley, 64 Bignell Street, Wanganui, and Acting Corporal Eric Courtney Bell, mother, Mrs J. C. Bell, Springvale Road, Wanganui.
