By Marcli, 1942, the Utmost had accounted for 69,000 tons of Axis shipping. Her successes include an Italian cruiser. The Utmost was launched in April. 1940, and was formerly commanded by Commander R. D. Cayley. D.S.O. Lieutenant Coombe assumed command of the Utmost last August.
