PLANE CRASH
Fourteen Persons Killed
(9.30 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 10. Fourteen of the 15 occupants were killed when the British Airways flyingboat Golden Horn crashed into the Tagus while making a trial run after engine repairs. Those aboard comprised the commander, Captain Lock, four British members of the crew and two members of the ground start - . The rest were Portuguese, consisting of two stewardesses, the wife of a British airways employee, a customs officer, a taxidriver and two boatmen employed by the company who were taken for a trip. The only survivor was the wireless operator.
