PEACE OFFENSIVE
Expected This Summer
(Rec. 8.56 p.m.) NEW YORK, April 20. Mr H. MacLeish, director of the Office of Facts and Figures, addressing the annual luncheon of the Associated Press, said that an Axis peace Offensive could be expected this summer. He explained that such ah offensive, employing weapons, Ideas and words, must be fought with the same weapons. The first line pf defence In such warfare was the Press. The power of words to overthrow nations and enslave people was a power they did not see and did not believe in, but the Nazi propagandists turned the famous common sense of the French people against France, and from that moment France was lost.
