GENEROUS BEQUESTS

WILL OF DIPTON FARMER (P.A.) INVERCARGILL, April 21. Generous bequests totalling £2500 to religious and charitable institutions are provided for in the will of William Wai'er. farmer, of Dipton, who died recently. The residue of the estate, which may amount to several thousand pounds, is to go to the New Zealand Institute for the Blind, Auckland. Probate has just been granted by Mr Justice Kennedy, and the value of the estate was sworn at under £31,000. Private bequests total £ll,OOO and after £2500 has been paid to religious and charitable institutions, the residue will be paid to the Institute for the Blind. The death duties will be substantial, but, if the property can be disposed of at near the valuation, the residue will be a fairly large amount.
