AIR FORCE MEDAL
Award To New Zealander
(PA.) WELLINGTON. April 21. Air Headquarters. Wellington, announced to-night that the Air Force Medal had been awarded Sergeant Daniel Paul Phillips. R.N.A.F.. son of Mrs D. P. Phillips, of Wellington. Sergeant Phillips was born at Riverton in September. 1911. and educated at St. Patrick’s College, Wellington. He enlisted in the R.N.Z.A.F. at the outbreak and after training in New Zealand left for Britain in the middle of 1940.
