NAVAL LOSS
Battleship Barham Lost LONDON, January 27. The Admiralty announced that the battleship Barham was sunk on November 25. The Admiralty states that the sinking of the Barham on Novembei- 25 was not announced, since It was clear that the enemy did not know she- had been sunk, and it was important to make certain dispositions before the loss was made public. As it is now clear the enemy is aware that the Barham was sunk, the loss can be disclosed.
