WEDDING

HOf ICK—FLEMING The wedding was celebrated at Knox Presbyterian Church, Waimate, of Doris, only daughter of Mr and Mrs C. D. Fleming, Waikakihl, and George Gra-me, second son of MT G. Hossack and the late Mrs Hossack, Arno. Tire Rev. A. F. Sutherland performed the ceremony and Miss O. Camerson presided at the organ. Tl.e church was attractively decorated by friends of the bride with bowls of japonica and flowering currant.

The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a graceful gown of cream cloque cut on classical lines. The V neckline was finished with small buttons to the waist. The sleeves were full at the shoulders and the skirt ended in a short train. Her veil of embroidered tulle was fitted to the head with a small halo of orange blossom, and she carried a trailing bouquet of cream camelias and freezias.

Miss Jean Fleming, of Wellington attended her cousin as bridesmaid She wore a tailored frock of roman e blue taffeta finished at the waistline with a velvet sash of a deeper tone and she carried a bouquet of p' ' a butilons. rosebuds and grape hyacinths.

Mr C. D. Fleming, Jr., acted as best man and Mr S. G. Fleming was usher At the reception the bride’s mother received the guests. She wore a navymodel frock with accessories to tone and carried a bouquet of red abutilons and roses. Assisting her was Miss Mai. Hossack. who wore a rust ensemble with bla->k accessories and bouquet to tone.
