DEFENCES OF ROCK
Work On Special Fortifications LONDON. July 28. Workers engaged to enlarging the underground fortifications at Gibraltar are receiving special medical attention tb protect them against dust. Barracks built to hold thousands of men have been constructed to the Rock. Power stations have been built, as well as cookhouses ahd stores for food and war materials.
