OVERSTAYED LEAVE

Nazi Seamen Rounded Up NEW YORK, May 7. More than 100 German seamen, who have been stranded in New York since the start of the war, were rounded up in hotels bv Federal agents and police early this morning and charged with overstaying their leave in the United States. Officials declined to comment, but it is understood that the Germans will be interned. They are mostly former members of the crew of the Standard Oil Company’s tankers and they have been maintained ashore at the company’s expense since the outbreak of war.
