RAID ON SOCIALISTS

Officials Held For Questioning (Rec. 10.26 pm.) LONDON, May 8. Detectives in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Aberdeen raided the Scottish Socialist Party, the United Scottish Movement and the Nationalist Mutual Aid Committee. Officials and others connected with the three organisations were taken to police stations for questiontag, including a Church of Scotland Minister and a number of young women. Copies of the “Scots Socialist” which is the paper of the Scottish Socialist Party, were seized, also pamphlets and other literature.
