AWARUA ARRIVES
Fifteen Passengers

AUCKLAND, January 18. The flying-boat Awarua arrived from Sydney this afternoon after a flight of 8 hours 30 minutes. Fifteen passengers and ah infant Wefe aboard, also 2561 b of freight and 3601 b of mail. The American Clipper left Auckland at 9.36 a..m. to-day for Noumea on the first stage of the return flight to San Francisco. The Clipper, which carried 20 passengers, 2901 b freight and a quantity of mail, arrived at Noumea at 6.19 p.m.
