A Preacher Departs

By Telegraph—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, November 26. Brian Beresford Oliver, a draughtsman and preacher, aged 25, who was charged recently with participating in the activities of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, a subversive organisation, has left for Australia. The case was adjourned to enable him to do so. When Oliver’s name was called in the Magistrate’s Court this morning, Detective-Sergeant J. McClung told Mr E. C. Levvey, S.M., that Oliver had been seen off. Oliver was ordered to come up for sentence within five years if called on.
