BATHER DROWNED
A Prominent Athlete By Telegraph—Press Association WESTPORT, November 25. Alfred John Caldwell, aged 26. second youngest son of Mr and Mrs William Patrick Caldwell was drowned while bathing on North Beach this afternoon. Deceased was formerly prominent in cycling as a representative of Buller in the Maher Cup competitions and also was a Buller Rugby representative.
