PATRIOTIC TOURNAMENT A successful patriotic mixed fours tournament was held on the Kia Toa green yesterday. Conditions were ideal for bowling, and many close and enjoyable games were witnessed. The tournament w'as won by D. N. Adams’s rink with four wins. Results:— First round—Greenfield (s), Mrs Greenfield, Miss Stocker. Rippin 12 v. Lynskey (s), Calder, Miss F. Bradley, Mass Crowe 9. Ramage (s), Dickson, Mrs Story, Mrs Moore 20. Gray (s), Mrs Gray, Mrs Fahey Atkinson 12 v. Bradley (s), Mrs Laverty, Mrs Minifie, Thomson 11. Second Round—Taylor 13 v. Lynskey 10; Adams 15 v.
