MY DOG
I have a lovely little dog She’s nearly two years old, When mother calls her in for food She does as she is told. She scampers down the lane with me When I am off to school, I know she’d like to go with me But it’s against the rule. And when at tea time I come home My lessons all are done, I take her romping through the fields She so enjoys the fun. She is so very playful She plays with me at ball, My doggie's name is Judy She answers to the call. (Sent by Alex Marshall, age 11.)
