ANTONESCU IN BERLIN By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright LONDON, November 22. General Antonescu, the Rumanian Prime Minister, has arrived in Berlin. He was met by General Keitil, Chief of the German Staff, and von Ribbentrop. Another visitor who is expected is Dr. Tiso, the Slovak Premier.
ARMY CASUALTY LIST

JAPANESE WARSHIPS SUNK

RAIDS ON BRITAIN By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright LONDON, November 22. One German bomber was shot down over Britain to-night. Enemy ’planes appeared from several directions, but soon returned to their bases. London had two alerts, but the “raiders passed” signal was sounded at an unusua .y early hour. Liverpool also had two short alerts.

The Prime Minister (R. G. Menzies) announced to-day that the Government was considering sending the Minister for the Army, Mr P. C. Spender, to the Middle East to inspect the Australian troops and study their conditions.
