Canadians Give Spitfire.
Regimental Sergeant-Major Dale and Private Tremblay have personally handed Lord Beaverbrook a cheque for £5029 for a Spitfire. Sergeant-Major Dale stated that Canadians stationed in Britain were grateful for the work of Spitfire pilots who time after time .have driven off enemy aircraft from their camps. After several dog-fights Canadian soldiers decided to take around the hat, the cheque being the result.
