Regimental Sergeant-Major Dale and Private Tremblay have personally handed Lord Beaverbrook a cheque for £5029 for a Spitfire. Sergeant-Major Dale stated that Canadians stationed in Britain were grateful for the work of Spitfire pilots who time after time .have driven off enemy aircraft from their camps.
