ILLEGAL ENTRY
Jewish Refugees Caught By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received November 21, 9.50 p.m.) LONDON, November 21. Police boats caught two shiploads of Jews numbering 1771 in early November attempting Illegally to enter Palestine. The Government cannot permit open flaunting of the country’s laws, and the present revival of illegal migration might adversely affect the British position in the Near East, for which reason refugees are being sent to another British colony for the duration, after which their disposal will be considered. They will not necessarily be held in the same colony or be allowed to go to Palestine.
