LAND POLICY
Returned Soldiers Confer By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, November 22. A conference of delegates of branches of the Returned Soldiers’ Association met to formulate a land policy for the Association. It was held in private, but it is understood the aim was to formulate proposals for the settlement of soldiers returning from overseas, and that the plan will be submitted to Cabinet to-morrow. As the Small Farms Amendment Bill refers to the settlement of discharged soldiers it is being taken into consideration.
