WANGANUI TERRITORIALS By Telegraph —Association WANGANUI, November 22. Wanganui’s percentage of fit men drawn in recent territorial ballots is believed to be the highest so far recorded in New Zealand. Figures made available to-day show that of 623 men drawn in the first ballot, 411 were passed as fit when medically examined, 169 men were classified as temporarily unfit and 40 unfit. The percentage of fit men is more than 66 of the total examined. So far 806 drawn in the second ballot have been medically examined in Wanganui, and of these 515 have been passed fit, 215 temporarily unfit and 76 permanently unfit. The percentage of fit men compared with the total examined is 63.
