GREEK SUCCESSES By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received November 22, 1.30 a.'m.) ATHENS, November 21. The night communique says: In Epirus our armies have thrown back the enemy on a wide front and are advancing northwards. Tanks, together with 200 motor lorries, material of every kind and prisoners have fallen into our hands. We also scored striking new successes in the Koritza region, where our troops, after crossing the Morava range, are now advancing down the western slopes. Our aircraft successfully bombed the Argyrokastron aerodrome and also bombed and machine-gunned retreating enemy columns. AIR WARFARE By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received November 22, 1.30 a.m.) LONDON, November 21. An Air Ministry report says enemy activity last night was widespread but desultory. The attacks were intermittent and on a minor scale. Bombs were dropped on the London area, the Midlands, Southern England, Northwest England and South Wales. Fires were started in several towns in the Midlands, where explosive bombs demolished some houses and damaged others. A number of persons were killed and injured. The attacks elsewhere were generally Ineffective, although there was some damage. Our bombers attacked aerodromes in enemy occupied territory, a marshalling yard in Germany and the submarine base at rOrient. AIR MARSHAL TAKEN PRISONER LONDON, November 21. It is learned that Acting-Air Marshal O. T. Boyd, deputy-chief officer in the Middle East is reported missing. The Italians state that a ’plane, the occupants of which included Acting-Air Marshal Boyd, was forced to land in Sicily, and he was taken prisoner. ANTONESCU LEAVES FOR BERLIN ; LONDON, November 21. It is reported that the Prime Minister of Rumania (General Antonescu) is now on his way to Berlin.
