THEFT CHARGE

ACCUSED EXTRADITED FROM AUSTRALIA By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, November 20. Extradited from Melbourne on a charge of committing theft by fraudulently omitting to account to the Colonial Mutual Life, Wellington, for £6 received from Fannie Archibald, Harry William Solomons, aged 30, a radio announcer, appeared in the Magistrate’s Court to-day, and was remanded until Friday. Solomons was arrested in Melbourne earlier this month on his discharge from gaol after serving a sentence for having cut a broadcasting telegraph wire.
