FLIGHTS OVER LIBYA
Heavy Damage By R.A.F. United Press Association—Bv Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received November 6, 6.30 p.m.) CAIRO, Novembei 5. The Royal Air Force carried out many reconnaissance flights over Libya, heavily machine-gunning and damaging enemy motor t-ansport, and shooting down fighters. They also bombed a military building at Keren, Somaliland, causing fires with direct hits on the target area. It is officially annour-ed that South African troops established on Empire record for a forced march, covering 384 miles in 114 hours with a fivehour rest.
