Postponement Favoured By Telegraph—Press Association MASTERTON, August 16. The postponement of local body elections for at least 12 months is favoured by the majority of members of tlie executive of the Municipal Association, said Mr Jordan, the president. The opinion was given following a request from the Minister of Internal Affairs (the Hon. W. E. Parry) for the view of the executive. Several members were definitely opposed to any postponement of the elections, which will fall due in May.
