SHOT FOR SPYING
French Death Sentences United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received June 9. 6.30 p.m.) PARIS, June 8 A German film-producer, Fritz Erler, who was sentenced to death for espionage in France in April, was shot at dawn yesterday. His accomplice, a Swiss woman, Madame Carmen Mory, who was also sentenced to death, was reprieved. A Marseilles military tribunal sentenced to death four men and one woman for espionage. Three men and one woman were imprisoned.
