At the second series of interDominion trotting championships, the weather was ideal and a great attendance was present. There was general disappointment at the scratching of Uenuku due to shoulder trouble which has further developed since his brilliant win in the mile division on Wednesday. Results:—

MILE AND A HALF (First Division) Logan Derby (Tas.), 36 (Stamford) 1 Master Pixie (N.S.W.), scr (Chant) 2 Kolect (W.Aust.), scr (Kersley) .. 3

Ten started. Logan Derby made a brilliant sprint through the field under the whip in the last half lap, and won hard driven by three yards, with 12 yards between second and third. Supertax never was prominent. Time 3.16. The winner did the mile at the rate of 2.9, breaking the State record by 15 seconds. The crowd gave the winner an ovation. He scored six points, giving him a total of 10.

Second Division. Moreica (W.Aust.) scr (Morgan) .. 1 Taiga Boy (W.Aust.), scr (Moran) .. 2 Our Globe (Tas.), 12 (Lewis) .. ..3 The winner led all the way and won by 12 yards, with half a yard between second and third.
