SHIPPING PORT OF TIMARU

Three Vessels Worked

Three coastal vessels worked the port yesterday. The Port Whangarei, from Dunedin, loaded general cargo and sailed for Lyttelton. Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato. The Gale, from Oamaru, loaded for Wellington and Wanganui, and sailed for these ports via Lyttelton. The Wainui arrived from Oamaru last evening and sailed later for Napier and Gisborne, via Lyttelton. ARRIVALS February 8 Port Whangarei, m.v., 508 tons (Rutledge) from Dunedin (H. J. R. Somerville and Co., agents). Gale, m.v., 600 tons (Davis) from Oamaru (D. C. Turnbull and Co., agents.) Wainui, s.s., 1633 tons, from Oamaru. (Union S.S. Co.) DEPARTURES February 8 Port Whangarei, m.v., for Lyttelton. Gale, m.v., for Lyttelton. Wainui, s.s., for Lyttelton. COASTAL VESSELS Listed Movements The Waiana is due to-day from the Bluff to pick up cargo for Wellington and Auckland, via Lyttelton. The Holmglen is due to-morrow to load for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato Heads, via Lyttelton. The Waipiata is due on Monday to load for Wellington and Auckland, via Lyttelton. The Breeze is now due on Tuesday from Dunedin to load for Wellington and Wanganui, via Lyttelton. Due from Dunedin on Tuesday, the Storm will load for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. The Karu is due back at Timaru on February 15 to load again for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth. The Walmarino is due from Dunedin on February 18. She will load for Wellington and Auckland before sailing for Lyttelton. NEW ZEALAND PORTS By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, February 8. Arrived—Karu (10.45 a.m.) from Lyttelton. Sailed—Waipiata (12.30 p.m.) for Dunedin, Holmdale <2.45 p.m.) for Wellington.
