United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, February 7. It was announced in the House of Commons that the Government and the four main railways and the London Passenger Transport Board had reached an agreement by which the railways receipts and expenses would be pooled. The railways would be paid annual sums equivalent to the average of their net revenue for 1935, 1936, and 1937, the Government guaranteeing the payment of these sums amounting to approximately £40.000,000.
