VISIT TO EXHIBITION
PARTY FROM BOYS’ HIGH SCHOOL A party of 29 boys from the Timaru Boys’ High School, under the control of Mr D. S. Kemshed, left by yesterday’s express for Wellington for a visit to the Centennial Exhibition. The party, which has been organised under the auspices of the Group Travel Association, will be billeted at Rongotai College. Very complete arrangements have been made for the party to inspect the Exhibition. In addition there will be a launch trip on Wellington harbour and a sightseeing motor tour round the suburbs and the main attractions of Wellington. A feature of the tour will be a visit to the Art Gallery, where the party will be given a description of i the main works of art. Before leaving, Mr Kemshed said that a tour such as he had organised would be of considerable educational value to the boys, and that the development of travel along the lines | as commenced by the Group Travel I movement had considerable room for ' j expansion. The boys, said Mr Kemj shed, were all very enthusiastic about the trip and were looking forward to i their five days’ visit to Wellington.
