BODIES RECOVERED
VICTIMS OF WRECK OF YACHT By Telegraph—Press Association TAURANGA, January 22. Police, assisted by parties of local residents, searched the beaches during the whole of last week for the bodies of tour men who were drowned from the yacht Ngahuia on the night of Saturday, January 13. Parties out yesterday in drenching rain found the body of Mr Roy Tonkin on the beach at Matakana Island, about five miles north of the point of the wreck. Two miles further on they found the body of Mr Roy Mellars. The funeral of Mr Tonkins was held to-day—his 23rd birthday. Mr Mellars will be interred at Auckland.
