“ Support May Snap ” United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received January 21, 9.30 p.m.) LONDON, January 20. Sir Ralph Glyn, M.P., a former Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Prime Minister, writing in a local newspaper in his constituency says: “Support of the Government by many members is being severely strained and may snap unless the Prime Minister sees his way to a much more drastic reconstruction of the Cabinet. Parliament has assembled with an increased feeling of lack of confidence in certain ministers.” He criticises the Ministry of Agriculture and the Food Ministry, the Lord President of the Council, also Earl Stanhope and Sir Samuel Hoare (Lord Privy Seal).
