EXPLANATION
The letter on the subject of “Lost Totalisator Tickets.” published on Saturday under the pen-name of “Thomas Seaton,” was not written by Mr Thomas Seaton, of Beverley Hill, Timaru. Editor “Timaru Herald.”
Letters intended for publication must be reasonably brief and written legibly in ink on one side ol the paper. Correspondents must also attach their name and address to all Letters submitted, even though 0 pen-name is being used The Editor does not undertake to entei Into correspondence concerning letters which are refused publication for sufficient reason
