THE WEATHER Unpleasant conditions were experienced over the week-end, rain falling almost continuously. One hundred and six points were recorded on Saturday, 135 on Sunday and 22 on Monday, making a total of 263 for the period. Reaping will soon be general. Some oats are being cut and wheat is nearly ready. COUNTRY FAIR The annual meeting of the Country Fair was held on Monday night, Mr A. Kennedy presiding. The annual report and balance sheet were adopted. Committees were formed to make up a schedule of events and to report at a later meeting. Mr V. Stonyer was appointed temporary secretary.
