In the Sheffield Shield cricket match New South Wales in their second innings made 311 (Choen 70, Mudge 57, McCabe 55, Saggers 57). Grimmett took five wickets for 11 runs and Ward four for 120. South Australia in their second innings have lost three wickets for 74 runs (Bradman not out 35).
