BRITISH PROTEST IS REJECTED
United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph —Copyright WASHINGTON. January 15. The State Department has revealed that the United States on December 1 rejected the British protest that the American Neutrality Act discriminates against British ships. The United States replied that American vessels did not receive preferential treatment over other neutrals, and that the transfer requirements apply to all belligerents alike.
