CENTENNIAL GATHERINGS By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, January 16. The Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, is requesting all Centennial organisations to give a prominent place in their programmes to gatherings of early settlers. Centennial ribbons indicating the period of residence in New Zealand are available for use at such gatherings, and men and women of 75 or more years’ residence in New Zealand, are invited to send their names to their local Centennial committees or to the General Secretary, Centennial Branch, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
