HOME DEFENCE

NUCLEUS OF FINE ORGANISATION By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON. W. E. Parry to-day at the opening of the Centennial Trap-shooting Tournament at Taita. Mr Parry said there were 3000 clay bird shooters in New Zealand, men with experience of the bush and hills. He believed that if they were called on to fight in New Zealand they would be as stiff a proposition as an enemy would meet anywhere in the world.
