January 16 The Wellington women’s representatives won the Hallyburton Johnstone Shield, defeating Otago by 117 runs in the match which was concluded this afternoon. In the first innings Wellington made 195 and Otago 122. In the second knock Wellington hit up 100 and Otaso replied with 78.
