SUNDAY SCHOOL PICNIC The Hilton and Geraldine Flat Sunday Schools recently held a picnic at Hall’s Bush. Kakahu. During the afternoon races were held with the following results:— Girls under 14 —First race: Roseman Kirk 1. Zeta Beattie 2, Audrey McColl 3. Boys: Eric Green 1, Mervyn Hall 2, John Sheed 3. Boys under 9—F. Mattenson 1, Hol well Bruce 2, Noel Bruce 3. Giris: Noeline Meredith 1. Lorna Stonehouse 2, Betty Hall 3. Boys under 7—Peter Stonehouse 1, John Sheed 2. Ross Ellis 3. Married women—Mrs Lapsley 1, Mrs Stonehouse 2. Married men—Rev. Lapsley 1. G. Friend 2. Single women —M. Friend 1, H. Pierce 2. Miss Pierce extended a welcome to Mr and Mrs Lapsley on behalf of the parents and friends present, and Mr Lapsley suitably replied.
