SUNDAY SCHOOL PICNIC The Hilton and Geraldine Flat Sunday Schools recently held a picnic at Hall’s Bush. Kakahu. During the afternoon races were held with the following results:— Girls under 14 —First race: Roseman Kirk 1. Zeta Beattie 2, Audrey McColl 3. Single men—J. Hall 1. V. Patrick 2. Teachers’ race—N. Kelman 1, J. McColl 2. Toys were distributed among the younger children. Miss Pierce extended a welcome to Mr and Mrs Lapsley on behalf of the parents and friends present, and Mr Lapsley suitably replied.
