DEFINITE STATEMENT SOON By Telegraph —Press Association AUCKLAND, January 16 “I am satisfied that excellent progress has been made and it will be possible to make a definite statement in the near future,” said the DeputyPrime Minister (the Hon. P. Fraser) after his arrival by the Limited express from Wellington, replying to an interviewer concerning the commencement of the trans-Tasman airways service. Mr Fraser said he had discussed the matter in London with the British Government and the discussions had been continued more recently in Sydney and Melbourne with the Federal Governments Australian Prime Minister, the Aflt’ng-Minister of Transport, and dhector of Quantas Airways.
