Air Marshal A. S. Barratt to-day took over his duties as Commander-in-Chief of the British Air Forces in France. He has issued the following special order: “The British Air Forces are united under one command. The one ideal inspiring us is to do our utmost to help win the war. This, resolutely and unselfishly maintained, will overcome all difficulties. Let us keep it before us and with our friends and Allies, the French Air Force, who have done so much for us, we shall fly wingtip to wingtip doing cur share with the field armies speedily to end the war.”
