SPANISH OPPOSITION TO RUSSIA
United Press Association—Bv Electric Telegraph —Copyright VATICAN CITY, January 12. The Prime Minister of Spain (General Franco) has sent a message to the Vatican offering Spain’s collaboration in restoring peace and removing the danger of Communist expansion in Europe. General Franco announced Spain’s readiness to support, not only the antiCommunist crusade, but action in which the Vatican is believed to be engaged, in collaboration with Italy and the United States, to persuade the warring nations to accept the idea of a world conference to settle their disputes.
