SHIPPING PORT OF TIMARU

Four Vessels Due To-day There was little activity at the Port of Timaru yesterday, when the only vessel to work was the Holmglen, which was delayed by rain over the week-end. After loading for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato Heads she sailed last night for Lyttelton. With four vessels due, to-day will be one of the busiest for some weeks at the port. The Breeze will call from Dunedin and will load for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. The Holmdale, from Oamaru, will load for the same ports. From Dunedin the Waiana will load for Wellington and Auckland. The Kiwitea is due from Lyttelton with cargo from Westport. All four vessels will sail for Lyttelton. To load for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth, the Karu is expecetd on January 22 and will sail the same day for Lyttelton. The Waipiata is expected from Oamaru on January 22 to load for Wellington and Auckland via Lyttelton. The Wainui is expected from Oamaru on January 24 and will sail the same day for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne, via Lyttelton.
