HOLIDAY RECEIPTS
Increase In Revenue Bay Attractions With the exception of the omnibus service, for which there were 10 days, compared with 11 last year, the receipts from various bathing and tennis facilities etc., uhder the control of the Timaru Borough Council showed an increase on last year's figures, but there was a drop in the revenue from the riding devices and “scoota” boats. A wet Boxing Day also had its effect. The following statistics, which were presented to the Timaru Borough Council last night, show the receipts from December 22 to January 3, compared with those of the previous three years( shillings and pence omitted): —
