BOWLING TOURNAMENT AT CHRISTMAS

Fair Entries Draw For Fours And Pairs The Christmas tournament conducted by the South Canterbury Bowling Centre will commence on Monday morning next with the fours competition and the pairs start on Tuesday morning. Although there is only 28 fours this year against 36 the previous year, the tournament should provide good bowling, and if the weather continues dry the greens should be in excellent condition. A fair number of visitors are taking part, which should help to make the tournament more successful from the social point.
